There are a fair few things to do in Fujairah, but our favourites - and the best thing to do in Fujairah which you must look into is treating Fujairah as a central point from which to travel to other tourist atractions a little further away.

• Fujairah is not exactly a tourist destination but can be selected as the base city from where excursions to nearby areas could be planned. Some of the common points of attraction are the Fujairah Fort located on the fringes of the city, beautiful beaches in the city of Diba located 30 kilometres away, driving through the Hajar Mountains, a trip to Khor Fakkan and a boat ride in the Gulf of Oman as a method of exploring the islands.
• Marine activities like fishing and diving are popular amongst people while desert driving and power boat racing are meant for the adventurous.

Accommodation is plenty in Fujairah and while there are as many as six luxurious five-star hotels, it is possible to find budget accommodation comprising of clean and comfortable rooms.
