Ski Dubai

If the heat is really getting to you, you can cool off at the ever popular Ski Dubai at the Emirates Mall. Dubai and the Middle East's first indoor ski resort and the world's largest indoor ski resort.  Ski Dubai not only looks like an Alpine ski resort it also provides an ultimate skiing experience with its five runs including the world's first largest indoor black run, the longest of which is 400 metres witha  fall of 60 metres.  Additionally there are beginner slopes and a freestyle area for the snowboarders as well as a snowpark for the kids and adults.  

• Worried about not having the appropriate ski clothing? Don’t worry as Ski Dubai has the solution. You will be able to find everything from winter clothing to snowboard equipment to skis here. The skis will be there to carry you downhill while there will be quad-chairlift to help reach you to the top for another round of skiing.
• Not into skiing? There are other alternatives for entertainment in Ski Dubai. You can visit any of the two unique themed restaurants: the Avalanche Café which offers picturesque views of the slope and St Moritz Café which is located right at the entrance.
• Want to ski but don’t know how? In that case visit the Snow Pro, an exclusive retail shop which offers ski equipments as well as professional instructors who would provide you with guidance on how to ski or snowboard.
• If you just want to nosey and see the slopes you can do that from the relatively warm comfort of the mall fro where you can see the skiiers

When – The opening times from Sundays to Wednesdays is 10 am to 11 pm. On Thursdays the park is open from 10 am till 12 midnight. On Fridays it is from 9 am till 12 midnight while on Saturdays it is open from 9 am till 11 pm.
How long – This depends on how much time you would want to spend at the ski resort. It is just like an amusement park, you can spend as much or as little time as you want.
Location – This resort is located inside the Mall of the Emirates on Sheikh Zayed Road.
Cost – For snow park it is AED 120 for an adult and AED 110 for a child. If you want to visit the ski slope then it would cost AED 180 and AED 150 for two hours for an adult and a child respectively. The extensions per hour cost AED 50. For slope day pass as well as lessons on skiing there are separate charges. 
Booking – If you want ski lessons or snowboard lessons then you will have to book in advance.
