It's worth passing through Buriami, and if you do here are our things to do if you do pass Buraimi:
- One of the main tourist attractions is the Wilayat Al Buraimi, which is a conglomerate of three main buildings forming the Governorate of Al Buraimi. The entire cluster occupies the north-west corner of the Sultanate of Oman and comprises of wilayats of other provinces as well.
- Within the Wilayat of Al Buraimi, there are innumerable forts and houses both being historically significant. The visit is made worthy by the Al Khandaq fort, the emblem of the province.
- Another major attraction is the Al Hillah fort which has been recently restored and refurbished. The list of forts goes on to include Al Fayyadh, Hafeet and Wadi al Jizzi.
- Among the must-see spots is also included the historic house named Bait Bahr which provides a deep insight into the history and cultural heritage of the area.
If you are going to Al Ain, it is worth stopping by in Buraimi, and at a minimum to check out the oasis.
