Which Electricity is used in the UAE
Electricity is stable and power cuts are less rare than in the West. As far as sockets go, the UAE uses 220-240v – 50Hz current. That’s essentially the same as the UK with 3pins, and with an adapter, everything from Europe should work fine. You’ll require a transformer if you are coming from the USA or Canada. Strangely, some locations have US sockets, which is unexplainable.
