Arriving at Dubai and Abu Dhabi Airport

Abu Dhabi International Airport (AUH) is the main airport in Abu Dhabi. Dubai International Airport (DXB) is the main airport in Dubai, and recently opened, but very barely operational is Dubai World Central (DWC) based in Jebel Ali and on the outskirts of Dubai towards Abu Dhabi. Also known as Al Maktoum International Airport, which, when fully completed, over the next few years will be the largest airport in the world. Each of these airports is great for entry to the UAE. Abu Dhabi Airport is roughly 30 minutes from the city of Abu Dhabi and roughly an hour away from Dubai. Dubai International Airport is roughly 1 hour and a half away from Abu Dhabi, so depending on the deal you receive, whether your hotel pays for your taxi or timing considerations, you could pick either of the airports. There are a total of 7 international airports with the other main airport being Sharjah International Airport (SHJ)  If you are arriving in Abu Dhabi, you can pay a couple of hundred Dirhams for someone to escort you through the arrivals gat, passport control.
