If you’re trying to escape the pretentious crowd and you want a no frills great night out, head for Barasti for a true holiday vibe experience overlooking the Arabian sea.  Start with evening drinks and their super bar food and stay till late when the party really kicks off on the beach.  Alternatively, for the ‘daytimers’ come here for a relaxing breezy lunch.  If you’re lucky enough to be around when a top DJ or live concert is performing – go ahead and experience the energy, it is awesome.  Dressing here is a mix of casual and bling, but just beware it is an outdoor venue so the summers will get sticky.
