Mandarin Oriental Abu Dhabi
The first ever Mandarin Oriental to appear in the Middle East will be built on Saadiyat Island, Abu Dhabi and expected to complete around 2013. The Mandarin Oriental will feature 160 luxurious spacious rooms and suites and additionally a mix of serviced apartments and branded residences. The resort will include its award winning spa concept in serene surroundings and for entertainment it will feature six restaurants and bars, pools and priority access to the Saadiyat Island Golf Resort which will wrap around the resort. This, coupled with an extensive private beach will make it the perfect beach holiday after a day of cultural visits. Mandarin Oriental are renokned for creating culturally specific hotels, so you're not going to get the same hotel that has worked in Bangkok airlifted and plonked in Abu Dhabi. The Mandarin Oriental Abu Dhabi will be a great addition to Abu Dhabi. Let's hope there will be more in the region.
