Al Bateen Wharf

The Renovation of Al Bateen Wharf

The Al Bateen Wharf is known to be the oldest occupied area in Abu Dhabi city and currently going through a facelift whilst keeping with its maritime history.  The feature will be a beautiful waterfront with a 5 star hotel, promenade and luxury homes.  A new heritage centre, showing casing traditional architecture will be near completion.  Phase one of the project is completed which involved the renovation of mooring berths to accommodate 323 vessels. Phase two is expected by the second quarter of 2012. This will bring the entire fisherman’s marina, hotels, restaurants and retail outlets to life.
