Ok, now this place is sure to impress a ‘significant other’ or even a potential one.  It’s not your average spend, but for those extra special occasions, this is one ‘those’ places.  Everything about this place is perfect, the interiors are elegant and soothing (if you like lots of fish), ambience is soft with a subtle tone of a harpist in the background, the service is top notch and not in your face and the food is right on the mark. The chef is a master of fish and you won’t be disappointed at the elegant choices on offer including tuna carpaccio with foie gras and truffles - truly a touch of class.

Finz has been Abu Dhabi’s long standing best seafood restaurant for years, but with the surge of new hotels and classy restaurants, Finz hasn’t been as busy, but to pure seafood lovers, it will always be a number one choice.  A huge menu gives a variety of seafood options plus meat, chicken and vegetarian dishes.  In the cooler months, opt to sit outside.  However, indoors is just as nice, with huge windows overlooking the beach and warm cosy seating.

If you are after a bit of interactivity (and of course fish) next time you dine, then Fish Market will have you spending less time on your chair and more time around the stalls choosing what you’ll be eating before its actually cooked.  A great conversation breaker a business meal, this restaurant is centred around a typical market stall feel, where diners choose their raw seafood, vegetables and sauces, which is then passed to the chef for cooking.  Pricing can be a bit variable as the fish is all priced according to weight, so best to come here with an open mind and not get too carried away (unless the boss is paying).  Book in advance, especially for a weekend slot and insist on a table with a nice view.
