Can you kiss in public in the UAE

Sex on the beach is certainly not the thing to do, and you shouldn’t really kiss in public, especially if you are not married.  Holding hands is tolerated, but don’t during Ramadan.  The UAE is not really the place to have a smooch in public.  Public displays of affection are frowned upon.
